"Step Into Our Backyard" is a premier 90-second video series designed to pull back the curtain on the incredible talent, grit, and innovation found right here in our regional community. By partnering the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce with the creative expertise of Clear Profits Digital Marketing, we are moving beyond traditional advertising to tell the authentic stories of the businesses that serve as our region's "roots." This series is an invitation to rediscover what's in our own backyard. Being featured in this series means more than just a social media post; it’s an invitation for the community to transition from being "customers" to "neighbors." We are excited to give your business a high-end, professional platform to be discovered by the entire region as a staple of our shared backyard.

How It Works:

We are thrilled to be partnering with ClearProfits Digital Marketing (hello, Judy's Family Cafe fame) to bring high-quality, professionally produced videos at a shared, affordable cost for local businesses. Three Chamber member businesses will share a 90-second video, with 30-seconds dedicated to each business. This allows each business to highlight a unique product, service, or story. Collaborating with three businesses for a spotlight reduces costs without incurring the full production cost, while delivering a professional video that can be shared across social media channels.

 

Affordable High-Quality Marketing + Increase Reach + Community Impact = Win-Win Opportunity

To make this project possible, three businesses are needed to participate. Joining forces ensures each business gets a spotlight while sharing the production costs. Only a limited number of these will be filmed each month to maintain quality. Once the three spots are filled, the next session is scheduled.

$600 investment per business. HUGE savings!

Creative Process with Clear Profits

Getting your business on video is straightforward. Here is the exact process from start to finish:

Discovery Call (20 Minutes) — We schedule a quick call, either in person or through Google Meet, to learn your story and what makes your business unique.

Custom Script — We write a script tailored to your business and send it to you for review.

Production Day — We come to your location and film your video in a single session, typically wrapped up in one hour or less. No complicated logistics, no multiple locations.

Revisions — We send you the edited video for feedback and make any adjustments.

Delivery and Distribution — We deliver the final version to each business. The Chamber posts the full 90-second "Shop Local" series video as a collaboration post, giving every participating business automatic visibility on their own page.

How Will Videos be Shared?

The videos will be part of the Chamber’s “Why Shop Local?” campaign, promoting community businesses on Facebook collaboration posts.

Here’s How Collaboration Posts Work:

  • The Chamber posts the video and invites each member business to co-author the post.
  • Once accepted, the video will automatically appear on each business’s page, maximizing reach and visibility.
  • Collaboration posts drive higher engagement by showcasing the video to all followers of every business involved.

Each participating business receives their professionally produced 30-second video that can be used across multiple platforms:

  • Use it as a paid ad on Facebook and Instagram anytime
  • Pin it to the top of your social media profiles
  • Embed it directly on your website homepage
  • Include it in landing pages or email campaigns
  • Reuse it throughout the year for promotions and brand awareness
