Welcome to the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce. We are a membership-based organization of nearly 400 businesses and community partners. Since 1899, the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce has been delivering value to its members by encouraging a thriving business community, developing key benefits that matter to our members, and providing a platform that fosters a united voice and empowers local businesses to share a collective voice in the community.

History:

September 14, 1899: first incorporated as the Galesburg Retail Merchants’ Association

July 1918: name updated to Galesburg Business Mens’ Association

April 1920: changed to Galesburg Chamber of Commerce

January 1988: renamed Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce
