Lake Storey Recreational Area
The 600 acres at Lake Storey Recreational Area offer year-round outdoor adventure. In the summer, rent a row boat, canoe or paddle boat to tour the lake, enjoy the waterslide, swim in the lake or relax on the beach, use the playground and picnic shelters, play a game of horseshoes at any of the 24 courts in Lincoln Park, or camp at the extensive campgrounds. Bunker Links Golf Course is part of the Recreational Area as well as the Lakeside Waterpark. There are a number of hiking trails to be used year-round. Tennis courts are available at Lakeside Tennis Center, Galesburg High School, Knox College, West Losey Street and Fifth & Pearl Street.
